Once you close winzip though they will disappear off your hard drive, because you didn't actually unzip them to a destination. It may take a little while to launch because it temporarily unzips them. If you want to play a bunch of them (kinda playlist) Then select all the ones you want and drag them to winamp's desktop icon, or to its system tray launch button. If Winamp is the app you have associated with mp3's then double click any file you wish and winamp will launch and play the file. Once Winzip opens the archive container you see all the files in an explorer type window. Your registered programs work the same whether it is zipped or not. I suppose you already know that anyway since you have already tried KJ Pro.I just want WinAMP to be able to play files inside of zips without having to bother to unzip them first.

I also use CDG Autoname to name all of my files to my standard naming convention. I have been managing my list by making sure that I update my custom list first before moving the MP3G folders to my external disk drive. I can also create a smaller list from my custom list.

The other advantage of using KJ Pro is that I can eliminate duplicate songs and songs with vocals. When a singer wants to sing "My Way", I can then do a search and will pull up several songs from different brands. So, when I import them into Sax, I can then see that SC7501 is for Sound Choice. SC7501-01 - Elvis Presley - Hohum Song.zip My naming convention is: Disk ID - Artist - Song Title.zipĮg. I prefer to leave the ID intact because there are some singers who prefer Sound Choice and I can clearly see which files are for Sound Choice. I'm not sure about the idea of deleting the disk ID. I guess that would be an easy way of making your list in sync with your files. Interesting approach using the export facility in Sax.
